About Us

Japan Syndication and Loan Trading Association (JSLA) was established in 2001 with the aim of enhancing the liquidity of Syndicated loan market in Japan.

The JSLA is a not-for-profit organization funded by its members.

Members have grown to c.100 institutions and now includes banks, non-bank financial institutions, law firms and insurers as well as data and other service providers.

Through its diverse events, the JSLA create opportunities for professional networking, encouraging the sharing of knowledge and market environment.

The JSLA also provides recommended template documents and guidance notes, which are regularly updated to reflect legal and regulatory changes.
